ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Madison Noire and I'm a Chicago-based illustrator and animator. I have interned with Barnyard FX, Michael Lynn Animation Studio, and Lucky Jefferson as a concept artist, animator, and literary illustrator respectively. My work has been displayed in five northern Illinois art shows between 2016-2020. You can also find my art in fishladder's 2021-2024 editions, Lucky Jefferson's 2024 Ember issue, and Spindrift's 2025 issue.

I'm interested in exploring the broad concept of femininity through my art, whether that entails effervescent girly aesthetics or societal hardships widely experienced by feminine-presenting people. I hope to connect with audiences who resonate with this duality, and celebrate femininity for all its ups and downs.

When I'm not illustrating, I love to read, play the piano, crochet, rollerblade, experiment with fashion and makeup, and play with my dog/little sister, Daisy.
